By 2035, Mission Mumbai aims to establish itself as the premier destination for data centre investments, not only in India but globally. To achieve this ambitious vision, the state is setting bold targets, including:

  • Attracting ₹50,000 crores in data centre investments.
  • Establishing over 10+ large-scale data centre parks in key strategic locations.
  • Powering at least 50% of new data centres with renewable energy sources such as solar and wind.
  • Creating over 50,000 new jobs in the data centre industry.
  • Training 100,000 individuals in emerging technologies like AI, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity to support the growth of the digital economy.
